  Course Detail :  
     
  The BBM programme has been developed to prepare students to meet the requirements of organizations in the Shipping and Logistics sector so that the students will have a fundamental knowledge of the theoretical dimensions of business operations as well as an understanding of the practical application of these theories in the Shipping and Logistics domain. Following successful completion of the programme, students will be in a position to work in a variety of organizations in the Shipping and Logistics sector.

The BBM programme is built in 3 stages. In the first year the focus is on building the foundation in the core subjects and also training the students to excel in computing skills and communication skills. At the end of the 1st year, students will be required to undergo internship for 4 weeks.

In the second year, focus will be to impart detailed inputs in the core subjects and also giving the introduction to Shipping and Logistics sector. Students will be required to choose one of the following 3 focus areas:
  • Liner Trade
  • Port Agency & Chartering
  • Multimodal Transportation


At the end of the 2nd year, students will be required to undergo internship for 6 weeks.

The final year focuses on providing students with an integrated and holistic view of business and an in-depth understanding of the chosen area. Students will be required to do 2 projects in the third year in their chosen area.

 Qualifications Pass in +2 with 50% of marks
 Entry Entry to the course will be at the discretion of the Director of the Academy.

Admission test for proficiency in English will be conducted and candidates securing below 50 % will be required to take special coaching to bridge the gap in communication.
