Award of HND in Nautical Science by Edexcel, U.K
Stage 3

45 weeks (Three semesters of 15 weeks duration)at STC.

  • Semester 1 - Economics & Finance, Shipping Law, Insurance, HRM
  • Semester 2 - International Law & Trade, Ship Survey & Inspection, Environment anagement,
    Port Management, Shipping Management
  • Semester 3 - Economics & Trade, Logistics, Project Work
 
     
  Career Path :  
     
  This degree qualifies the students to take up career in fields of Ship Operations & Management, Marine Surveying and Consulting, Port Operations, Ship Broking & Agency, Marine Insurance, etc.  
     
  Eligibility for the Course :  
     
 
 Age Limit 17 to 20 years at the time of entry.
 Qualifications A pass in Plus Two (12th Standard) or its equivalent with minimum 40% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry group in Class XII. At least 50% in English either in 10th or 12th standards.
 Medical  Standard Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight up to maximum +/- 2.5, with no colour blindness.
 Entry Entry to the course will be at the discretion of the Director of the Academy.
