  NEW JAPANESE SHIPOWNER VISITS AMET

M/s. Nissen Kaiun company ltd, a leading ship owning company of Japan visited AMET on 26th Feb 2006. The company President Mr. Katsuye Abe and Managing Director Mr. Tadashi Abe were accompanied by Capt. Swaminathan & Capt. Ramadoss, their local representatives . The company plans to build its own talent pipeline of Indian officers by selecting their own cadets and placing them with a reputed academy for training . They were given the customery guard of honour and taken on a walk around of the campus. They were particularly impressed by the ship-in-campus project and the tie-up with A.P.Moller- Maersk Group who are the acknowledged trend setter in ship owning business.
