Captain Gaurav Bansal, Managing Director, A P Moller Singapore, on 19 th of July 2007, inaugurated the 3 rd Dual Pre-sea Course at AMET.

130 fresh cadets were all ears and looked up with awe when Captain Gaurav Bansal humbly recounted his days when not many years ago he started out as much like them. What better motivation than to hear it out from the first Indian to be on the board of A P Moller – Maersk Group, while still in his thirties.

Capt S Bhardwaj, CEO of AMET, thanked Capt Gaurav Bansal for all the support since the inception of this course 2 years ago which was a pioneering and path-breaking move in the country in not only the novel Dual Course curriculum and embedded sea time, but also in displaying company's involvement and ownership in training and developing own talent pipeline.

Captain Gaurav Bansal lighted the sacred lamp invoking the blessings of the almighty and wished AMET well.
