Capt.Anindya A.Dasgupta, Cadet Training Manager of Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Mumbai inaugurated the 2007 academic session at AMET by lighting the Kuthuvilakku and addressing the fresher batches of B.Sc Nautical Science and BE Marine Engineering.

Capt.S.Bhardwaj, CEO & Director, AMET thanked Capt.Dasgupta and urged the fresh cadets to see Capt.Dasgupta as a role model who has risen up the ladder so very fast and at such a young age and is now shouldering responsibilities at the office level.

Capt.Dasgupta advised the eager fresh cadets to adopt Goal setting and then pursue the goals.

Capt.Dasgupta then did the campus selections of B.Sc Nautical Science cadets who are passing out in June 2008.
