Mr. J. Ramachandran
  Mr. J. Ramachandran is the Managing Trustee of Smt. Pattammal Educational and Charitable Trust. He is the Chancellor of the Academy of Maritime Education and Training, which operates under the aegis of this Trust.

He is also the Chairman of a social welfare organisation called New Era Association of Educated Self-Employed Youth (NAESEY) which generates self employment opportunities for the educated unemployed. He was sponsored in the year 1994 by Government of USA to participate in a community symposium along with leading social activists from 18 other Countries.

The other companies headed by Mr. J. Ramachandran are Computer Higher Education and Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. (CHESS), AMET Ship Management Services Pvt Ltd., and Asian Institute of Management and Information Technology.
 
 
 
Capt. S. Bhardwaj
  Capt. Bhardwaj brings with him, over 30 years of work experience, which includes 5 years as Master of various types of ships and then 17 years of multi-disciplinary shore experience in senior management positions. His last 5 years was in Top Management position with the highly successful Seahorse Group. As part of his work experience, he has wide exposure to the management of various types of industries and organizations besides shipping.

-He is the current Chairman of The Nautical Institute - India South Branch.

-A member of International Federation of Ship Masters Association, UK.

-On the panel of experts of the IMO London

-On the panel of examiners of Madras University, Anna University and the MMD.
 
 
 
   
Mr. K. Seyadu
  Mr. K. Seyadu, M.Sc.(Physics) with Specialisation in Electronics,is our Registrar. He is also our Training Coordinator for the Higher National Diploma Courses in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science and the graduate Marine engineering courses. He also coordinates the B.E.Marine Engineering and B.Sc.Nautical Science courses. He has been associated with maritime training for over 16yrs. He was earlier a lecturer at training ship "RAHAMAN" at Navi Mumbai and at the National Institute of Port Management at Chennai. He has been with AMET since inception.  
 
 
Capt. Yeshwanth Raj
  Capt. Yeshwanth Raj, (Master FG) had his initial training on the Dufferin Rajendra from 1970-72. Thereafter he sailed with the Shipping Corporation of India in various ascending capacities till 1988. He then sailed on board foreign flag vessles.

He has been in command for twenty years. He is a member of the Company of Master Mariners of India.
 
 
 
   
Mr. A. Venu Gopal
  Mr.A.Venugopal. D.M.E, C.Eng, F.I.MarE, started his carrer with INDIA STEAM SHIP COMPANY Pvt Ltd. After obtaining second engineers certificate of competency joined shipping corporation of India and served as various levels to become chief engineer in 1980. And from 1982 he served as chief engineer in foreign flag vessels.He served as chief engineer for more than fifteen years UNIVAN SHIP MANAGEMENT before joining AMET as faculty in 2003.  
 
 
Mr. N. Srinivasan
  Mr.N.Srinivasan is the Dean for our Management Studies Department. He has graduated from Indian Institute of Management, Ahamadabad and brings with him 18 years of industry experience(both in India & in United Arab Emirates) in the areas of Commercial shipping & Logistics. Mr.Srinivasan's vision is to enable AMET to emerge as a leading educational & research resource center in Asia Pacific region. AMET's Marine E-learning curriculam development is being coordinated by Mr.Srinivasan. The Marine E-learning courses are being designed to cater to the global needs for high quality management courses in shipping, Logistics & port Management sectors.
 
 
 
   
Mr. J. P. Thiagarajan
  Mr. J.P. Thiagarajan, M.A., M.B.A., B.L., CAIIB., DBM., PGDPM, Diploma in Training & Development, worked as Manager in a Public Sector Bank for 25 years and out of which 8 years as Faculty member in the Bank's Stafff College.

Specialized in the areas of Management Accounting & Financial Management, Organizational Behaviour, Business law and other Management subjects.
